PIKE COUNTY, INDIANA – Charger Nation at Pike Central Middle School Sports is on fire this fall! These student athletes are doing a fantastic job in their academics and disciplined at their sports.
- Pike Central Middle School boys did fantastic and took home second place in the SIJHSC Soccer Tournament.
- The Pike Central Middle School girls took home the championship in their last seasonal SIJHSC Soccer Tournament!
- Pike Central Middle School Volleyball for 7th and 8th Grade recently became the Wood Memorial Invitational Champions!
- Middle School Cross Country had multiple runners competing at State with stellar finishes and brought home 5th place at PAC.
- Middle School Football had a ton of new players this season. Over half the team were first- or second-year players. Over the course of the season, they developed their understanding of game to being productive team members. There were injuries that led players to adapt to new positions without much turnaround. The football team shows great promise for the future.
Coaches from all teams have echoed how proud they are of their student athletes. They always come ready to work and shows when you see the teamwork on field or court. Pike Central Middle School has great athletics and coaches that dedicate their time for the youth sports. Keep up the great work, Chargers!
