Petersburg, Indiana – Pike County Economic Development Corporation’s Executive Director, Ashley Willis, announces after working in economic development and entrepreneurship for 11 years she will be starting her own business. The business, Resilient Economix, will be launched in August 2026 to help more communities accelerate their economic development growth strategies, business development, and project/grant management.

Willis stated, “It’s been a privilege to serve Pike County with a focus on economic diversification, business development, entrepreneurship, and infrastructure. I’m proud of the $22.9 million in grant funds that I’ve been able to bring into Pike County and be a liaison to the companies that have invested over $1.6 billion in new capital investment.
