WINSLOW, Ind. – Monday, March 23, 2026 was demo day for Pike County Economic Development Corporation’s first property in the Town of Winslow! The property is 913 N. 1st Street in Winslow as part of the Blight Elimination and Housing Program.
We couldn’t do it without our donors: Being for Others Health & Wellness Foundation, CenterPoint Energy Foundation, Arevon and the Pike County Community Foundation. We are currently promoting the property with local developers to build new, affordable housing.
Ashley Willis stated: “Our committee is evaluating other blight properties throughout Pike County. We have already cleaned up one blighted property in Petersburg and currently in discussions with housing developer. More details to follow.”
