WINSLOW, INDIANA – Winslow Elementary School was awarded one of America’s Healthiest Schools for 2025 on behalf of the Alliance for a Healthier Generation! Winslow has made it a priority to offer healthy, nutritional options with fresh produce for fruits, vegetables, and protein in their student’s diet. Principal Aaron Meyer stated, “The students are more engaged and retain more knowledge when they have nutritional foods in their daily lives. When students retain more of what they learn in the classroom, the literacy and test levels reflect as a positive result.”

The Winslow Eskimo’s have so much momentum and have been building their STEM identity for a few years, they are currently in the process of applying to be a Certified STEM Elementary School with the State of Indiana.
