PIKE COUNTY, Ind. – The Pike County Economic Development Corporation (Pike County EDC) has appointed industry veteran Nichole Like as its interim executive director. Like brings more than 20 years of experience in community and economic development, nonprofit leadership, public service, and grant development.
“Nichole’s skills working with community organizations and economic development experience make her the perfect fit for Pike County,” Pike County EDC board president Joni Stafford said. “We are grateful to have her lead the Pike County EDC into the future.”
Before joining the Pike County EDC, Like served as CEO of The Pantheon Business and Innovation Center in Vincennes, where she worked closely with entrepreneurs, small businesses, community partners, and local leaders. Earlier in her career, she worked in regional community and economic development with the Southern Indiana Development Commission and served in county government.
Like is also the owner of Like Funding Strategies, where she works with nonprofits and community organizations on grant development, strategic planning, and project implementation. She holds a Master of Public Administration from IUPUI and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Illinois.

Like lives with her family in rural Knox County and has spent much of her career working in and around Southwest Indiana. Her first day at the Pike County EDC was September 4.
